Exchange garden tiles for free plants

Are you in for a quick and easy way to make your garden greener? Then you can joint the Dutch Tile Flipping Championship  (NK Tegelwippen)! Flip  a few tiles in your garden and exchange them for free plants.

This way, you’ll make your garden more beautiful and help out nature.

Three exchange days in May

On Saturdays May 17, 24, and 31, you can hand in your garden tiles or other pavement material at local garden centres. In exchange you’ll receive a voucher with a value of up to 40 euros. You can use this voucher immediately to pick up the free plants. The more tiles you hand in, the higher the amount will be. For example, a tile measuring 30 by 30 centimetres is worth 2 euros.

Why participate?

Fewer tiles and more greenery are good for:

• Birds, butterflies, and other animals,
• Better water drainage in your garden,
• A cooler garden on hot days.
