A2 closed for three nights between Urmond and Born

In the nights of Monday 16 - Wednesday 18 March, the A2 will be closed between Urmond and Born in the direction of Eindhoven.

Rijkswaterstaat is carrying out maintenance and preparatory works due to the widening of the A2 between Het Vonderen and Kerensheide. Traffic will be diverted during the works. Road users should expect extra travel time.

During the closures, we will work on maintenance of the asphalt and we will repair the detection loops for the traffic signaling. Damaged crash barriers will also be repaired, and posts for the DVM installations will be erected. These are technical systems designed to make traffic safer and flow more smoothly.

The A2 will be closed between junctions Urmond (48) and Born (47) towards Eindhoven for three consecutive nights on Monday 16 March, Tuesday 17 March and Wednesday 18 March, each night between 21:00 and 05:00.

Traffic will be diverted during the works. Road users should allow for extra travel time. Diversion routes will be indicated locally with yellow signs.
