Night-time closures on the A2 near the Born interchange

Due to construction work for the widening of the A2 between Het Vonderen and Kerensheide, several entrance and exit ramps at the Born interchange (exit 47) will be closed at the end of June and the beginning of July.

Among other works, temporary access roads are being constructed to provide the contractor with sufficient space to carry out the project safely.

A2 towards Maastricht – exit 47a (Born) closed:

Monday, June 29, from 20:30 until Tuesday, June 30, 05:00
Tuesday, June 30, from 21:00 until Wednesday, July 1, 05:00
Wednesday, July 1, from 21:30 until Thursday, July 2, 05:00
Thursday, July 2, from 21:30 until Friday, July 3, 05:00

A2 towards Eindhoven – entrance ramp 47d (Born) closed:

Monday, June 29, from 20:00 until Tuesday, June 30, 05:00
Tuesday, June 30, from 20:00 until Wednesday, July 1, 05:00
Wednesday, July 1, from 20:00 until Thursday, July 2, 05:00
Thursday, July 2, from 20:00 until Friday, July 3, 05:00

A2 towards Eindhoven – exit 47c and entrance ramp 47d (Born) closed:

Wednesday, July 8, from 20:00 until Thursday, July 9, 05:00
Thursday, July 9, from 20:00 until Friday, July 10, 05:00

Construction of temporary access road

The closures of exit 47a (approaching from Eindhoven) and entrance ramp 47d (towards Eindhoven) are required for foundation works related to the construction of a temporary access road and its associated entry and exit lanes.

The closures of exit 47c and entrance ramp 47d (approaching from Maastricht) are necessary for tarmac work on entry and exit lanes intended exclusively for construction traffic. A guard rail will also be installed.

Traffic measures

Traffic will be diverted during the works. Road users should expect up to 10 minutes of additional travel time. Diversion routes will be clearly indicated by yellow signs along the route.
