From Friday 31 October until Sunday 2 November, engineering works will be carried out on the railway line between Sittard and Roermond.

During these works, there will be no train services between Sittard and Roermond. Bus transport will be provided instead. Passengers should expect longer journey times and existing connections for transfers cannot be guaranteed.

From Friday 31 October until Sunday 2 November, no trains will be running between Sittard and Roermond. NS passengers can use direct NS buses between Sittard and Roermond and Arriva passengers can take the Arriva buses (with intermediate stops).

To travel on a replacement bus, passengers need a valid travel ticket, such as an OV-chip card. You must check in at the station where you start your journey and check out at your destination station. Due to the layout of the buses, bicycles cannot be taken on the bus.

Passengers should be aware that travel will take longer than usual. Existing connections cannot be guaranteed. The timetable for the replacement bus service can be found on Arriva’s website. The entire journey, from door to door, can be planned, booked and paid for in advance via arriva.nl and ns.nl.
